Nigel Garrard appointed as a non-executive director

 
CSR Limited (CSR) announced today that Nigel Garrard has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director, effective 1 December 2020.
 
Mr Garrard was the Managing Director & CEO of leading packaging manufacturing company Orora Limited from 2013 to 2019.  Mr Garrard has also held a number of senior positions in a range of manufacturing industries including Managing Director/President of Amcor Australasia & Packaging Distribution, Managing Director Coca-Cola Amatil Food & Services Division and Managing Director of the then listed SPC Ardmona.
 
In welcoming Mr Garrard to the CSR board, CSR Chairman John Gillam said, “Nigel brings extensive operational, manufacturing and listed company experience to CSR.  As inaugural Managing Director & CEO at Orora, he led significant growth in that business with a focus on culture, financial discipline, innovation and execution.  He will be a great addition to the CSR board.”
 
Mr Garrard is also a non-executive director of Ansell Limited, Chair of privately-owned McMahon Services and on the Advisory Board of privately held Detmold Group.  He is also a director of the Hudson Institute of Medical Research.
 
Mr Garrard will become a member of CSR’s Risk & Audit and Remuneration & Human Resources Committees.  He will stand for election to the board at CSR’s next Annual General Meeting in June 2021.
