CSR Limited (CSR) announced today that Christine Holman has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director, effective 25 October 2016. 

Ms Holman brings over 20 years’ experience across the technology, private equity and digital sectors in a variety of functions including finance, commercial, technology and marketing.  

Her previous roles include acting as Commercial Director at Telstra Broadcast Services and Chief Financial Officer and Commercial Director of Globecast Australia, a joint venture between Orange SA (previously France Telecom) and Australian shareholders, before being acquired by Telstra in June 2015.

She also spent seven years at Capital Investment Group assisting management and the board of investee companies on strategy, business development and mergers and acquisitions. 

Ms Holman is a director of APN News & Media Limited.  She has an MBA from Macquarie University, Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Macquarie University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course.

Ms Holman will become a member of CSR’s Remuneration and Human Resources and Workplace Health, Safety & Environment Committees. She will stand for election to the board at CSR’s next Annual General Meeting in June 2017.

CSR also announced effective 25 October 2016 that non-executive director, Rebecca McGrath, will retire from the board. Ms McGrath has been a director of CSR since February 2012, and signalled her intention to retire at the company’s Annual General Meeting in June.
