CSR Limited (CSR) announced today that Penny Winn has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director, effective 9 November 2015.
Ms Winn brings over 30 years of experience in retail in senior management roles in Australia and overseas, including as Director Group Retail Services with Woolworths Limited where she was responsible for leading the Logistics and Information Technology divisions and the Customer Engagement teams across the organisation.
Ms Winn is Chairman of Port Waratah Coal Services Ltd, a director of Caltex Australia Limited and a member of the UTS Business School’s Advisory Board.
Ms Winn will become a member of CSR’s Risk & Audit and Workplace Health, Safety & Environment Committees. She will stand for election to the board at CSR’s next Annual General Meeting in June 2016.
CSR also announced effective 9 November that non-executive director, Kathleen Conlon, will retire from the board. Ms Conlon has been a director of CSR since December 2004, and signalled her intention to retire at the company’s Annual General Meeting in July.
