CSR completes return of funds to shareholders and confirms number of shares on issue post share consolidation
CSR Limited advises that it has today finalised the return of funds to shareholders of $A800 million, following a resolution of shareholders passed on 8 February 2011.
The capital return of $A661.4 million, being $0.4357 per fully paid ordinary share, has today been repatriated to shareholders. This follows the special dividend of $A138.6 million ($0.0913 per fully paid ordinary share) paid on 2 February 2011.
On 8 February 2011, CSR shareholders also approved a consolidation of the company’s share capital through the conversion of every three fully paid ordinary shares in CSR into one fully paid ordinary share. As a result, CSR today confirms that the total number of shares on issue (post consolidation) is 506,000,315.
