CSR Limited advises that its application for expedited leave to appeal has been granted. CSR will appeal the Federal Court’s decision of 3 February 2010 in which the Court declined to order the convening of a meeting of CSR’s shareholders to consider the proposed demerger of its Sugar and Renewable Energy business.

The matter is listed for hearing before the full Federal Court on 29 and 30 March 2010.
