CSRLimited (CSR) today announced that it has received confirmation from the AustralianCompetition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) that it will not intervene in CSR’s acquisition of Don Mathieson & Staff Glass PtyLtd (DMS Glass), a leading Australian downstream value-added processor and distributor of flat glass.

The proposed acquisition, announced on 12 September 2007, was conditional on CSR receiving satisfactory confirmation from the ACCC that it would not intervene in the proposed acquisition pursuant to section 50 of the Trade Practices Act1974. CSR now intends to complete the acquisition of DMS Glass by 8 October2007.
