CSR LimitedChairman, Ian Burgess, said today that Dr Ian Blackburne had accepted aninvitation to join the CSR Board.

DrBlackburne, 53, is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CaltexAustralia Limited, a position he has held since January 1998.

He waspreviously Managing Director of Ampol and then the joint venture, AustralianPetroleum Pty Limited, following the 1995 merger with Caltex.

DrBlackburne has extensive experience in strategic planning, sales andmarketing, and distribution.
